Why Access Control from the Cloud?

The GAO Access Control System Cloud is the cloud-based version of our popular Access Control System. Using our cloud solution means you have online access to the system from anywhere to administer access and view reports in near real-time.

Three Versions to Choose From

With over a decade of building access control systems using our industry-leading RFID hardware and GAO software, we have developed three versions of access to control to fit every business need: Tap and Enter (for traditional access control), Hands-Free (for workflows requiring staff to move large objects through access controlled zones), and Tap and Use (for enabling only certified users to access specialty machinery that require certification to operate).

Find the version of Access Control best-suited for your business-environment:

GAO Tap & Enter Access Control System

The GAO Tap & Go Access Control System works in a simple and reliable way: users carry an ID card or badge and tap their card to a reader placed next to the doorway they wish to enter.

Benefits

The GAO Tap & Enter Access Control System delivers safety, security, and convenience by accepting or denying a user access to specific areas or specialized equipment within your facility.

After issuing RFID cards or tags to users, users can tap their card to a reader to gain access to the desired area. After a card is tapped, the system determines if the user is authorized to access that particular area. If the user is authorized, the door or entrance will be unlocked. If the user is unauthorized, a light, buzzer, or beeper can be triggered to indicate that the user has been denied.

The Tap & Enter Access Control software keeps detailed entry and exit records as users move throughout the environment. These records can be filtered, re-organized and exported in different file formats. First name, last name, user ID, group name, and location name are just a few of the filters that can be used to search for specific information. Through these detailed records and reports, administrators and managers are empowered to make timely, educated decisions while they oversee the facility or environment.

Key Features

The GAO Tap & Enter Access Control System lets you:

  • Control access to buildings, floors, rooms, and restricted areas
  • Create user groups and set email alerts to know when certain users are detected
  • Easily expand and re-configure the system within your environment
  • Log access data for decision making and detailed reporting

Applications

The GAO Tap & Enter Access Control software is suitable for any environment where access to specific doors, floors, or rooms needs to be controlled and recorded.

GAO Hands-Free Access Control System

The GAO Hands-Free Access Control System is ideal for organizations that have workflows requiring staff to move large objects through access controlled zones and do not have the ability or time to physically tap a reader. The GAO Hands Free Access Control system is also ideal for organizations that want authorized personnel and visitors to move freely throughout their environment while denying entry to unauthorized individuals.

Benefits

The GAO Hands Free Access Control System delivers convenience, safety, and security, by accepting or denying a user access to specific areas or specialized equipment within your facility.

After issuing RFID cards or tags to users, users can enter rooms and areas simply by walking up to or underneath the reader. After the user is detected, the system determines if the user is authorized to access that particular area. If the user is authorized, the door or entrance will be unlocked. If the user is unauthorized, a light, buzzer, or beeper can be triggered to indicate that the user has been denied.

Key Features

GAO Hands Free Access Control software includes powerful time saving features including:

  • Easily add users and control access to buildings, floors, rooms, and restricted areas
  • Monitor user movement through each area in real-time
  • Sort users into groups and set email alerts to know when certain users belonging to a certain group are detected
  • View, customize, and export detailed access history reports

Applications

GAO Hands-Free Access Control software is ideal in environments where such as hospitals or manufacturing facilities where users aren’t able to tap an RFID card due to the speed at which they need to move or hygienic reasons.

For hospitals and other medical environments, users may be moving stretchers or other vital equipment and may not have the time to stop and tap their RFID card. In addition, a hospital worker or user placing their hand on a card or door may lead to bacteria concerns. In manufacturing environments, users may need to maintain certain speeds as they move from area to area within the manufacturing area. In situations where users are moving pallets, work bins, or heavy products, their hands may be too occupied to user their RFID card.

GAO Tap & Use Access Control System

The GAO Tap & Use Access Control System works in a simple and reliable way: users carry an ID card or badge and tap their card to a reader placed on or next to the equipment they wish to use.

Benefits

The GAO Tap & Use Access Control System delivers safety, security, and convenience by accepting or denying a user access to specific areas or specialized equipment within your facility.

Through this powerful software and system, management can easily control and change who can and who can’t access certain equipment, ensuring the safety of all users.

Key Features

The GAO Tap & Use Access Control Software includes reliable, powerful features including:

  • Restrict access to dangerous machinery to only certified operators
  • Monitor activity for each machine or piece of equipment in real-time
  • Easily add and change permissions for users
  • Set email alerts to know when certain users are detected
