- Raw materials-sand, soda ash, limestone and other ingredients
- Batching-raw materials are stored in silos to be measured and delivered to batch mixers. Raw materials are processed according to stringent qualifications.
- Melting-Furnaces are heated to approximately 1500℃. The timeline for raw materials to be converted into molten glass takes 24 hours for a batch. Correct temperature is extremely important to deliver a finished product.
- Blow process- used to create narrow neck containers, compressed air is forced into a molten gob to create an open cavity before being transferred to the second moulding stage. The Press Blow method is used for the creation of jars and tapered narrow neck containers. A metal plunger is used to impress a cavity into the gob in a blank mould before compressed air is forced to form the shape of the container.
