The laundry tags are available in a variety of frequencies such as 125kHz LF (Low Frequency), 13.56 MHz HF (High Frequency), and also Gen 2 Ultra High Frequency (UHF). These devices are compliant with standards such as EM 4100 and ISO/IEC 18000-6C (EPC Gen 2). Additionally, these tags possess key features such as shock and dust resistance, waterproof, resistance to pressure and chemicals, and resistance to high temperatures and harsh conditions of various cleaning methods. The material and design of these tags are enhanced to provide an ideal product for its use in textiles, clothing, garments, and accessories. Most of these tags are washable, durable, easy to use, light weight, and flexible. They can be fixed onto any fabric using a regular heat-sealing machine. Most of the tags use materials such as PVC, PPS+ epoxy, ABS, double layer laminated polyimide film, and 65% polyester, 35% cotton, and backside with hot-melt adhesive to ensure softness, resistance, and flexibility. Furthermore, the reading range of the tag can vary depending on the frequency and can be short to medium, ranging up to 7.87” (20cm); or it can be a long read range, which can vary up to 16.4’ (5 m). The reading range can also vary depending on the reader and also the conditions of the fabric, such as if it is wet or dry.
