GAO RFID offers the user a diverse selection of Laundry RFID tags with technologies that are designed to make them apt for the hotel and institutional laundry process. The laundry tags are available in a variety of frequencies such as 125kHz LF, 13.56 MHz HF and also Gen 2 Ultra High Frequency. Most of these devices are compliant with EM 4100 and support various protocols such as ISO/IEC 18000-6C (EPC Gen 2). Additionally these tags possess key features such as shock and dust resistance, waterproof, resistance pressure and chemicals, resistance to high temperatures and harsh conditions of various cleaning methods. The material and design of these tags are enhanced to provide an ideal product for its use in textiles, clothing, garments and accessories. Most of the tags use materials such as PVC, PPS+ epoxy, ABS, double layer laminated polyimide film and 65% polyester, 35% cotton, backside with hot-melt adhesive to ensure softness, resistance and flexibility. Furthermore the reading range of the tag can vary depending on the frequency and can be short to medium, ranging up to 7.87” (20cm); or it can be long read range, which can vary up to 16.4’ (5 m). The reading range can also vary depending on the reader and also the conditions of the fabric, such as if it is wet or dry.
