The GAO Mid-Range Personnel Locating System is one of two Passive RFID versions available on our Personnel Locating System. Using the Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) band of 900 MHz, the RFID Reader sends signals and powers on the RFID Tags worn by your personnel. Information is then reflected back to the Reader, providing the System with personnel location information.
UHF is suited for reading intermediate distances of up to 5 metres, and is ideal for applications that monitor personnel location using choke points designed at entry and exit points of buildings.
