Description
Overview
This passive Gen2 UHF RFID tag is specially designed for tracking livestock, particularly Animal (or other bovines: buffalo, oxen), and operates in 860-960MHz Gen 2 Class 1 frequency range. This RFID Animal ear tag enables the tracking and monitoring of each cow’s feeding, location, vaccination and health history. The tag’s EPC compliance enables excellent performance in applications that demand high anti-collision rates and its IP67 rating ensures that it can withstand harsh environments. GAO’s 860-960MHz RFID Animal ear tag shows robust performance and provides optimum read range over the entire UHF bandwidth and operates reliably in dense reader environments. The RFID Animal ear tag also provides a unique custom command set, which includes Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) for increased security, Read Protection that prevents unauthorized chip memory access, and Calibrate, which facilitates the best possible communication between the tags and the RFID readers.
Applications
Well suited for tracking Animal for foods, locations, vaccinations and health histories, etc.
