Overview

GAO RFID’s Active RFID Beaconing Tag w/ Tamper Proof feature is especially useful in asset locating & tracking and warehouse inventory management. When the compatible active reader (SKU#217001) signals the tag, its built in LED will flash making the asset easy to locate. This tag provides a read range of up to 40 m. It also provides a tamper resistant mechanism causing it to send an alert if an attempt is made to remove the tag. This rugged ABS material packed RFID tag supports bi-directional reading providing two commands: addressing command and stop addressing command. The RFID tag transmits globally unique ID every two seconds and offers an identification rate of 100 tags per second. This well- designed RFID tag also has a smart tiny button at the bottom. When the button is pushed in and the tag will transmit a “normal” signal. The RFID tag also provides reliable RF signal and communication distance even in harsh environments. It performs well even when it is mounted on metal surfaces such as iron and aluminium.
