Description

The GAO Hands-Free Parking Control System allows a vehicle to drive through a gate without stopping and without manually operating any remote control. The system automatically determines the authorization of an incoming vehicle and controls the gate.

A UHF Gen 2 RFID tag is placed inside a vehicle on the windshield or hung on the the rearview mirror. When the incoming vehicle is within a few meters of the UHF Gen 2 RFID reader, the information on the tag will be read. If the vehicle is authorized, the barrier will open automatically and the driver can drive through without stopping or manually operating any remote control.
