This passive UHF RFID tag is RoHS and EPC Class 1 Gen 2 protocol compliant and provides a memory capacity of 96 bits. When placed on metal applications, it provides a read distance of 6.56′ (2 m) from a fixed reader and 3.28′ (1 m) from a handheld reader; while on non-metal applications, the read distance is 1.64′  (0.5 m) from a fixed reader and 1′ (0.3 m) from a handheld reader It performs well in harsh environments and meets rigorous endurance requirements in terms of heat, pressure and chemical resistance.
